I Am Generous.
I Am Christ Church.

One of our core values is generosity. You'll quickly discover that most of our ministries and events are complimentary, and that is due to this foundation. Through the regular tithes and offerings of our Covenant Members and regular attenders, we demonstrate our commitment to being Radically Generous...both inside Christ Church and out in the community.

Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Corinthians 9:7

Endowment Fund

The Christ Church “Endowment Fund” provides our congregation with a perpetual source of income in support of the church’s ministries and missions and provides our membership with a vehicle through which they can make legacy gifts to the church.

The vision is to provide for and to secure Christ Church’s future and that of its ministries, both global and local. Our Endowment Fund complements and supports the future needs of the church and its ongoing initiatives. The team mission is to promote and administer the Christ Church Endowment Fund for the purpose of providing members and friends the opportunity to make charitable gifts to our church that provides financial support and a living memorial for donors.

Gifts to the Endowment Fund can be made in many ways:

  • Through estate gifts

  • Through wills & bequests

  • Direct contribution to the Fund

Free Legacy Planning

A plan for radical generosity is important as we steward all that God pours into our lives. Christ Church is committed to radical generosity and has received a special gift that will allow us to offer the opportunity for at least 12 families to work with a legacy gift planning counselor. This effort is for all individual and families of all ages.

To learn more, click this button to complete the short form.

This effort is completely free and confidential. The gift planning counselor is a third party who will have nothing to sell you, nor will he be allowed to do so by Christ Church. This effort is all about helping our families create that radical and responsible generosity plan that extends beyond their life.

The entire process will involve two 90-minute sessions with the counselor. At the end of these sessions you will have a completed plan and booklet that you can take to your financial advisor or attorney to complete your will or estate plan. During the process you will be invited to consider a gift to Christ Church in the plan, but you will not be pressured to do so. It is entirely up to you and how God directs you. We trust that God will move your heart in the best direction for His kingdom and purposes.

Support for our Ethiopian Mission

Strong Families Care Center is a mission of Christ Church in Mequon, WI and operates under Strong Hearts Ethiopia. The center provides a safe, nurturing place for children during the day so that their mothers are able to look for work. Opened September 14, 2013, Strong Families was almost immediately at full-capacity, with 40 young children in care from infant to age three. They are receiving proper nutrition, early childhood education, and basic healthcare and hygiene education. Social support, counseling, education, vocational training, parenting and life skills training are also being provided to their mothers. The center’s holistic approach to caring for children and their mothers will enable them to obtain the skills and opportunities necessary for a successful future and save them from a life on the streets.

The mothers in this program may not otherwise be able to provide for their children and run the risk of having to abandon them or release them to an orphanage. By providing care, mothers are able to generate income in order to provide for their children. The children are welcome at the center five days a week.
